Isolate 1.5 inches of hair at the front perimeter. Trim the remaining hair at the occipital bone and tease the crown slightly for subtle lift. Place a moon-shaped donut beneath the pony. Style the hair into a chignon, set aside 20% of the pony hair. Use 20% reserve to create waves/ridges on the Chignon with U-pins, hold spray, and IK Slim Iron.

Remember to use shine spray on each section for gloss finish. Continue creating waves/ridges in front, moving from India towards the back. Dressed on the chignon. ⁠⁠Lastly use hair accessories for enhancing the look.

Straight blow-dry the hair smoothly. Tong the hair using a 28-size tong. Make a tight ponytail at the crown area, keeping the front area clean and sleek. Take two strands from the ponytail. Make a knot, lean the ends inward and secure. Continue this process downward. Create 5–6 knots following the same method. Use the leftover hair from the ponytail. Make a braid. Criss-cross it around the bun. Secure neatly with pins.

Finish with glossy/firm hair spray for long-lasting hold

Begin by cleansing the hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove buildup. Towel-dry the hair thoroughly. Apply an appropriate prep or base product suitable for the hair type and desired finish.

Start by blow-drying the hair with volume, focusing on creating lift at the roots. Once blow-drying is complete, section out a horseshoe section and isolate it neatly. Gather the remaining hair into a ponytail at the occipital bone and secure it using a bungee band. Smooth and control flyaway using hairspray and an Ebony Teasing Brush. Lift the ponytail, place a volume pad underneath & secure with U pins. Drape the ponytail over the pad, concealing it to match the volume shape. Tuck and secure any loose ends underneath the volume using bobby pins or U pins to form a clean chignon. Once the chignon is secure, prep the horseshoe section using a crimper to add texture. Use hairspray and gently comb through with the teasing brush to smooth flyaways. Style the horseshoe section by directing the hair away from the face. Add texture by softly lifting small sections with your index finger and thumb. Secure with U pins, working from the forehead back toward the chignon. When reaching the chignon, continue the same technique to dress the hair smoothly over it.

Check for balance & symmetry. Remove the construction U pins. Lock the hairstyle in place using a fixing spray. Finish by adding accessories of choice, according to the bridal look.
